Third-Party AI Service

Sarthi uses Google Gemini, a third-party AI service provided by Google LLC, to generate conversational responses, journal reflections, daily insights, and wellness recommendations.

Data sent to Google Gemini for processing:

  • Chat messages and conversation history
  • Journal entry content (when requesting AI reflections)
  • Daily schedule information (for rhythm analysis)

Your name, phone number, and account credentials are never sent to Google Gemini. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/SSL). Google's use of this data is governed by Google's API Terms of Service.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

  • Provide AI-powered wellness conversations and insights
  • Generate personalized journal prompts and reflections
  • Analyze your daily rhythm and suggest mindful pauses
  • Send wellness reminders and notifications
  • Improve the quality of Sarthi's services

We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising.

Data Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/SSL). User data is stored securely on AWS cloud infrastructure with access controls and encryption at rest. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

Your Rights

  • Access: You can view your data within the app at any time.
  • Deletion: You may request complete account deletion from Settings, which permanently removes all associated data including conversations, journal entries, and profile information.
  • Consent: Before using AI features, you are asked to explicitly consent to data sharing with Google Gemini. You may withdraw consent by deleting your account.
